A Dream Stay with a Nightmare Start
If there were a 10-star rating, I’d give it without hesitation. But before we start talking about the paradise that is Four Seasons Sharm el-Sheikh, let me tell you about the nightmare that was our journey there.
It all started with AirEgypt and what should have been a smooth flight from Cairo. Instead, we found ourselves trapped in Cairo Airport for most of the night, as our flight from Milano to Cairo was delayed and made us miss our connecting flight to Sharm. We spent the whole night in Cairo Airport and let me tell you, there is nothing to do or eat. The exhaustion was on another level and by the time we finally made it to Sharm, we had officially lost one night of our holiday. As if that wasn’t enough, my luggage came out damaged beyond repair—a parting gift from the airline, who, to this day, still hasn’t refunded me despite their promises. If anyone from AirEgypt is reading this, please know that I officially hate your airline.
Now let's shift focus back on the beautiful, wonderful Four Season in Sharm.

First Impressions: Perfection Exists
We've stayed in some incredible places before, but this? This was something else.
From the moment we arrived, the Four Seasons team welcomed us with the warmth and elegance that only a world-class hotel can offer. The check-in process was seamless, and within minutes, we were whisked away to our stunning sea-view room in the new area of the resort.
I can confidently say: this was one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in.
Spacious, elegant, and designed with that signature understated luxury that the Four Seasons does so well.
After a long night of airport chaos, I was ready to collapse into the cloud-like bed.

The first Adventure (and First Sunburn)
By 10 AM, exhaustion had won. I told my boyfriend G to wake me up at 2 PM to go for lunch and without a second thought, I passed out cold on a cloud like pillow. I still remember that nap.
Giorgio, on the other hand, is incapable of sitting still—especially when there’s an ocean involved. True to his fanatic nature, he immediately ran off to the Diving Center and was snorkeling the house reef before I even fully closed my eyes.
When he finally returned to wake me up at 2 PM sharp, he looked like something out of a National Geographic documentary—completely red, sunburned, and grinning like a maniac.
"That reef is unbelievable," he said, ignoring his lobster-like appearance. "You have to see it!
He wasn’t wrong. The house reef in Four Seasons Sharm is a dream— absolutely wonderful full of vibrant life, corals and fish.
The beach itself was equally impressive—soft golden sand, perfectly maintained, with staff always ready to bring towels, drinks, cold water to keep you refreshed.
And also for everyone who is not happy to walk, there are carts always at disposal to take you anywhere you like as the property is really vast.
Food Worth Traveling For
I’ll admit—I have high standards when it comes to food, and Egypt hasn’t always delivered on that front. But at Four Seasons Sharm el-Sheikh every meal was an experience.
Two restaurants, in particular, stole our hearts:
Lola – A Mediterranean gem, serving up flavors that transported us straight to the shores of Italy and Greece. Fresh seafood, delicate pastas, and perfectly grilled meats—all prepared with top-tier ingredients. Buritos and even some peruvian dishes.
Bellona – fine dining from Milan found a place in Egypt. Every dish here was a delicious, but the real magic was in the atmosphere.
A Lush Oasis in the Desert: The Gardens of Four Seasons Sharm el-Sheikh
One thing that completely blew me away at Four Seasons Sharm el-Sheikh—besides the insane luxury and the dreamy beach—was the gardens. You don’t expect to find lush greenery and tropical flowers in the middle of a desert, but somehow, they’ve managed to turn this place into a green oasis. Given the climate here, the amount of work that must go into keeping everything so fresh and vibrant is seriously impressive.
A Five-Star Gym for the Active Traveler
Brand-new, top-of-the-line equipment, and plenty of space to train. Whether you wanted to lift weights, do yoga with a view, or just get in a solid morning session before diving, this place had it all. Even G (sunburn and all) managed to sneak in a workout before dinner.
The Best Stay in the Red Sea? Probably one of the best if not the best hotel in Egypt.
After staying at multiple five-star resorts in Egypt, we can confidently say: Four Seasons Sharm el-Sheikh is one of the best places to stay in the entire Red Sea.
The service? Flawless.
The rooms? Breathtaking.
The beach & snorkeling? World-class.
The food? Gastronomic heaven.
This isn’t just a resort—it’s an experience.
Final Thoughts: Would I Return?
In a heartbeat.
Despite the AirEgypt disaster (which, believe me, I won’t be forgetting anytime soon), our stay at Four Seasons was pure perfection. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget all your worries the moment you step inside.
If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway where you can dive, snorkel, and indulge in world-class service, then this is the place to be.
Just remember to bring extra sunscreen—or you might end up looking like G. 😆
